Your Aesthetic

With spring just around the corner and all sorts of changes in the air, I was feeling inspired to make a few changes to my room. Nothing drastic and nothing that involves a whole lot of work, but fun little projects that add a lot of character. All the details on how you can make these items will be in a later blog post. As for now, enjoy these photos and I hope you can be inspired too!

Aesthetic. It's all around the internet. Why the obsession? Because everyone wants inspiration, and if you're like me,  just loves seeing all things interior design/style related. What is my "aesthetic" or style you may ask? Well, it's always changing. Preppy, glamorous, simple, casual, trendy, minimalistic; it literally changes constantly. But I have currently been in a minimal/chic kinda mood. So this post reflects that. Don't know what your's specifically is either? Hopefully this helps... Prendre plaisir...

All In The Details

Here is a quick shot of some of the little items that I have recently added. The marble and gold are big in my book right now, and I made both of these little trinkets. The card is from Alex & Ani. 

So this... is my new obsession

This little tray lives on the end of my bed and I absolutely adore it. It holds a few of my favorite things, and it makes me oh so happy. 

Sentimental Decor

I love these two flags and they both hold a lot of meaning. The American flag was from a Fourth Of July party and the French flag was from my family's Bastille Day dinner. I stuck these in a mason jar with some pencils and bam: color, contrast, and sentimental value.

Pink, Gold, & Gray | Style Series

I've always had a love for fashion. And because I also have a love for photography and editing, I decided to combine all three and, well.. this is the product. 

So today I bring you my "style series" and we're kicking it off with a super-wearable, adorable combination of three of my favorite colors; pink, gold, and gray. Keep reading for more details. 

So here is the outfit. Perfect for the weather we have been enjoying here lately and extremely comfortable as well.

I started off with just some basic black leggings and a flowy light pink shirt. Then to dress it up a bit, I added this edgy jacket to balance out the girly flairs.

And of course, I had to add some gold accent pieces. For me, my gold watch and monogram neckless are staple pieces and really take an out fit to the next level. It doesn't hurt that they're gold either...

And to top it all off, I just added some simple black flats.

Recap of 2015

Looking back over 2015, I realize how incredibly blessed I am and what an amazing year I had. I made varsity, I visited my dream school, I met some of my best friends, I cruised to three different islands, I spent a summer exploring Wisconsin and Minneapolis, I went to a buckeyes game, I turned fifteen. This year, has been amazing, and I can credit that all to my amazing family, friends, team mates, and my Lord. Here is my year in photos.
