DIY Rainbow Pancake Stack

Hello! I'm back with a quick, easy, and adorable recipie for buttermilk pancakes! They do take a bit of extra work, but turn out absolutely lovely and delicious.
Okay, so to start here are the ingredients you will need:
- 3 cups flour (whole wheat or white will work)
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups butter milk ALTERNATIVE: Pour 3 cups of milk into a bowl and add about one teaspoon of vinegar. Let this sour for five minutes before adding it into the pancake mixture.
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup of melted butter
In a large bowl combine all of your dry ingredients. They combine all of the wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Next mix the two together.
OPTIONAL: Split the mixture into separate bowls to color. Depending on how many colors you want, the amount of bowls will vary. Add about a drop more of color than normal because after cooking the color may fade depending on the brand. I used Wilton Food Colors and my pancakes turned out beautifully vibrate. Heat up a griddle or frying pan to medium heat and spay with non-stick cooking spray.
Scoop out pancake mixture onto griddle about a 1/2 cup at a time. Flip after top begins to bubble and edges harden. Enjoy!
