Day In The Life | Spring Break Edition

Happy Spring Break! Boy, did I need this break. We are only four days in, and I already feel so refreshed! Yesterday, Ellie and I took advantage of the beautiful weather for some shopping, swimming, dining, and more. We, obviously, took photos throughout the day:
First stop: The Dienger, a local coffee shop, cafe, boutique, and bookstore with a European flare. We breakfasted here before shopping and looking around the ornate store.

After breakfast, Ellie and I strolled down the Hill Country Mile, stopping by the gazebo before doing some more shopping.

The famous Main Street Gazebo! Gilmore Girls, anyone?

Then we headed home to change and go swimming!

The weather really turned around from a cloudy morning to a bright and beautiful afternoon!

The little boys spent every minute in the water while Ellie, myself, and the adults opted to read and relax for most of the afternoon.

As you can see, we had a great time having a mini photoshoot!
Later that evening, we went out to see Hidden Figures with our Nana and Mom as a little girls night. I highly recommend the movie and it was the perfect close to a wonderful spring break day.

Happy Spring Break!
XOXO

Elegant Autumnal Get-Together

Last weekend, my parents threw their first party in our new home. It was a lovely Fall get-together for my Dad's staff, and we also preformed a house blessing for our new lives here.

My mom and her friends created these lovely floral arrangements. They featured bright sunflowers, cranberry garlands, and aromatic rosemary that complemented the evening perfectly!

We set up two tables inside for the adults, and one outside on the back deck for the kids.

The outdoor seating arrangement.

We served the food from the island.

My mom prepared a wonderful meal: Cranberry-Pecan salad, French Bread, and two types of Lasagna.

The weather was perfect; sunny, cool, and ideal for enjoying a meal.

The beautiful house blessing started with the lighting of candles held by Jonathan and Matthew.

My favorite moment of the night was when we all prayed together in the fourier

Each Waters kid took turns reading Bible verses from the Lutheran Hymnal, it was overall a very special and memorable experience and a great way to initiate our new lives here.

I hope you enjoyed these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them on my new camera!

XOXO,
